A reading life, mapped through history
Trajan’s Forum is being built for serious readers who want more than a list of titles: a historically rigorous way to understand how physical books, ideas, people, places, events, and institutions belong to one another.
The working application is private and invitation-only for its owner and a small friends beta. The consumer platform described here is the direction—not a public launch claim.
From shelf to understanding
A book matters partly because of what it reveals around itself. Trajan’s Forum turns a personal library into a deliberate path through history while keeping the reader—not the algorithm—in command.
Library
Keep a considered record of the physical books you own, hope to read, and have finished—along with ratings, notes, shelves, and the shape of your reading life.
Knowledge
Connect books to people, places, events, and institutions through reviewed relationships and visible evidence. Concepts and themes are a reviewed future direction, not part of today’s working graph.
Guide
Use historically rigorous recommendations and tutoring to explore unfamiliar ground, deepen an interest, compare interpretations, and find the next worthwhile physical book.
Historical rigor is the product
The tutor is designed to challenge a questionable premise, distinguish evidence from interpretation, show credible competing views, and say when the record is incomplete.
Honest about the horizon
The private application proves the central experience now. An invitation-only beta now proves separate accounts and private data isolation. Public self-service accounts, consent operations, and broader support remain future milestones.

For now
Trajan’s Forum remains private and invitation-only while the consumer foundation takes shape. The owner and invited friends may sign in to isolated workspaces; everyone else can explore this vision without creating an account or sharing an email.
